Ystad or [ˈyːˌstɑːdʰ] is a municipality and city in Scania in southernmost Sweden.

The municipality covers an area of 352.5 km². Of the total population of 26182, 12620 are male, and 13562 are female. The population density of the community is 74 inhabitants per km².
