an area of London, England, The World's End Estate is bounded by the King's Road, Chelsea on one side and Cheyne Walk on the bank of the Thames on the other. On the King's Road side there is a pub called The World's End which approximately marks the western end of the Chelsea area (as Sloane Square marks the eastern end). The World's End area was home to Gandalf's Garden and the Hippycounterculture in the 1960s and to Vivienne Westwood's shop ("Sex") in the punk period of the 1970s.
