White Oak Township (also designated Township 20) is one of twenty townships within Wake County, North Carolina. As of the 2000 census, White Oak Township had a population of 38,710, a 260.0% increase over 1990, and a population density of 1.01 people per acre (250/km²).

White Oak Township, occupying 38,464 acres (156 km²) in western Wake County, includes the bulk of the town of Apex and portions of the town of Cary.
