Where The Buffalo Roam is a semi-biographical film based on the experiences of gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson. It stars Bill Murray as Thompson and Peter Boyle as Thompson's attorney Oscar Acosta, referred to in the movie as Carl Laslow, Esq.
