Church of Jesus Christ - Christian was founded in the 1940s by Dr. Wesley A. Swift, the son of a Methodist Church minister and who was considered the single most significant figure in the early years of the Christian Identity movement in the United States. Following the death of Wesley Swift in 1970 the ministry was continued by his wife Lorraine Swift.
