Washington State Route 20

Washington State Route 20, Highway 20, SR-20, or The North Cascades Highway is a State Highway (Route) in Washington State. It travels from an intersection with US-101 at Discovery Bay near Port Townsend to Newport at a junction with US-2 about 400 feet from the Idaho state line.

Oddities

SR-20 is one of only 3 State Routes in Washington that are closed in the Winter. Washington Pass Annually recieves several feet of snow throughout the winter, and is prone to avalanches.
