Waiata/Corroboree

The 1981 album released by New Zealand band Split Enz was given different titles in Australia and New Zealand, both referring to traditional native singing. Corroboree is an Australian Aborigine term for singing, and Waiata has the same meaning in Maori. It was their sixth studio album, and seventh album release overall.

The album was successful, but failed to capture the same audience as the previous album True Colours. The singles History Never Repeats and One Step Ahead were, however hits on both sides of the Tasman Sea.
