Wacom

Wacom is a Japanese graphics tablet company. It is the major graphics tablet producer today, and is extremely popular with artists, graphic designers, architects, and cartoonists, particularly on the Mac. Wacom tablets are notable for their cordless, battery-free, and pressure-sensitive pens. Some of their products feature the ability for a user to invert the pen and use it much as one would use an eraser on a regular pencil.

The company's American headquarters are in Vancouver, Washington; its European headquarters are in Krefeld, Germany (founded 1988); it also has corporate offices in Japan, Korea, and China.
