The Vorticon are a race of grayish, dog-like, bipedal aliens featured in the Commander Keen computer games. They have formidable claws, rayguns and, oddly enough, ninjas.

In episode one, the Vorticon steal vital parts from Commander Keens' spaceship while he is visiting Mars. After Keen defeated their leader, he returned to Earth to find that the Vorticon mothership was hovering above Earth with eight cannons pointed at major Earth cities. After destroying said cannons, it was revealed that the Vorticon were under the mental control of a being known only as the Grand Intellect. Keen headed to Vorticon VI to defeat him and it was revealed the he was actually Mortimer McMire, Keens' arch enemy. Keen then defeated him and set the Vorticon free.
