Vinnie Vincent

Vinnie Vincent, born (August 5, 1952), in Connecticut, as Vincent Cusano, is a musician best known for his part in the band KISS.

Vincent was in several bands before KISS, the most popular being, Treasure (1978/1979).

Vinnie was brought on as a replacement for Ace Frehley for the Creatures of the Night tour. As KISS' last tour in make-up, Vinnie selected the image of the Egyptian Ankh hieroglyphic for his persona. Vinnie's tenure with KISS began in November 1982, continuing through KISS' unmasking from their make-up in June 1983, and ending in March 1984.

The Lick it Up album marks KISS' unmasking. Lick It Up is the only instance of him appearing on a KISS album by image and the only instance of him receiving lead-guitar credit. He was replaced with Mark St. John for the following album, Animalize .

After Kiss he formed Vinnie Vincent Invasion , with two LPs: Vinnie Vincent Invasion (1986) and All systems go (1988). He had credits in Kiss Revenge album (1992), including songs unholy and I Just Wanna . With one EP in 1998 (5 songs) and a recent cd speedball Vinnie Vincent has become one of the more notable guitar players in history.
