Valmet Automotive is a mechanical production company in Uusikaupunki, Finland, producing cars and vehicles for other manufacturers, including:

• Saab Automobile (up to 2003)
  • Saab 96
  • Saab 99
  • Saab 900 convertible
  • Some specialized Saab 9-3 models
• Porsche - The Porsche Boxster

The automobile production company was founded in 1968.

Tractors are also sold under the name Valmet.

Valmet also produces firearms, and notably developed the Rk 62.

Valmet developed a line of military trainer aircraft for the Finnish Air Force, including the L-70 Vinka and L-90 Redigo

Valmet is a brand of Metso Corporation.
