Me

Hi, I'm Smoddy, occasionally also known as Sam Korn. I am not going to justify my user name. That would be highly embarassing.

To tell you all about me:

• I am 16
• I live in the United Kingdom, in Wales to be fairly precise
• I am currently a student, and intend to read Arabic at university in two years' time, preferably at Oxford University.
• I am Anglo-Catholic
• I joined Wikipedia here. Ok, it was a pretty pathetic edit. But I have improved since. I hope.

Wikipedia successes

In my five months on Wikipedia, I have totalled well over a thousand edits. I am afraid that my style does not involve making radical edits, rather to improve what is already hanging about, especially copy-editing. On the other hand, I did play a significant role in bringing League of Nations up to featured article status.

Wiki-philosophies

I am, by nature, a bit of a deletionist. If something cannot be shown to be noteworthy (although I do take a fairly generous view of noteworthy), it should be deleted.

When it comes to admin status, I am, again, fairly relaxed. I think it better to give someone the benefit of the doubt when it comes to admin status. Even an editor who has been controversial in the past can become far more civilised by the responsibility of adminship.

I am not normally someone to brag, but I have a great regard for Wikipedia, and hold all of my edits in high regard. Thus, my major moments are thus:
