The Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre is an improvisational theatre in Chelsea, Manhattan, New York City. Their unique form of improvisational comedy makes them one of the more popular clubs in New York. The name Upright Citizens Brigade, can also be recognized for their TV show they had on Comedy Central during 1998-2001. The club was founded by Matt Besser, Amy Poehler, Matt Walsh, and Ian Roberts, who continue to do shows there to this day.
