Under the Bridge

(Redirected from Under The Bridge)

"Under the Bridge" is a 1991 song by the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Released on their album Blood Sugar Sex Magik, the music video won an MTV Video Music Award. Under The Bridge is an introspective ode to Anthony Kiedes's drug habit. A particular line of the song sings 'Under the bridge downtown, is where I drew some blood' referring to his use of drugs under a bridge, although Anthony himself refuses to reveal the exact location.
