Ume älv

The Ume älv (Ume River) is a river of northern Sweden, some 460 km (285 miles) long, which flows in a southeasterly direction from its source near the Norwegian border. It enters the Gulf of Bothnia at Umeå. Its chief tributary is the Vindelälven .
