Ulf Gunnar Ekberg aka Buddha was born on December 6, 1970 in Göteborg, Sweden to Mats and Monika Ekberg. He is one of the four members of the Swedish pop group Ace of Base. His father is the former tennis coach of the Swedish and Danish national teams. Growing up, Ulf experienced problems with drugs, and now fights against violence and the abuse of drugs among adolescents. He now resides in Marbella, Spain, and is currently seeing Swedish model and television personality, Emma Sjöberg. Ulf has previously worked as a chef, and also studio technician.
