UFWC stands for The Unofficial Football World Championships. It is a novel way of calculating the world's best football team, using a knock-out title system similar to that used in boxing.
Winners of an international match played between the current title holder and a challenging international team become title holders.
The current Unofficial World Champion is Zimbabwe, following their 2-0 defeat of Angola in March 2005. The championship has been traced back to England's 4-2 defeat of Scotland in 1873.
Its official website can be found here.
