U.S. Highway 70

United States Highway 70 is an east-west United States highway that runs for 2,385 miles (3,838 km) from eastern North Carolina to east-central Arizona.

Termini

As of 2004, the highway's eastern terminus is Atlantic, North Carolina . Its western terminus is Globe, Arizona at U.S. Highway 60.

Originally it reached downtown Los Angeles even though it was duplexed with U.S. Highway 99 and/or U.S. Highway 60 throughout its course west of Globe, Arizona. Beginning in 1964 it was decommissioned in favor of Interstate 10 or US 60.
