Tutti Camarata

Salvador "Tutti" Camarata (1914 - April 13 2005) was a composer, arranger and trumpeter. He studied music at Juilliard School in New York and became a trumpeter for Big Band. Later he was the leading trumpeter and arranger for the group of Jimmy Dorsey (arranging such hits as "Tangerine," "Green Eyes" and "Yours"). He was the arranger of Glen Gray and the Casa Loma Orchestra, Benny Goodman, Bing Crosby, Billie Holliday, Ella Fitzgerald and others.

He was a conductor for several television series in the United States. At the end of 1940s, he established London Records together with Edward Lewis to record classical and popular music. In 1950s, he returned to the USA, where he established Disneyland Records together with Walt Disney. In the year 1960 he started the Sunset Sound Records, that recorded music for Rolling Stones, Van Halen, Miles Davis and others.
