WWE career

Her original on-camera role in the WWE was that of a manager, managing the team of Test and Albert, or "T & A." She briefly expanded her faction to include Val Venis.

After the breakup of her team, she concentrated on singles wrestling. At Survivor Series 2001 she won her first Women's Championship in a Six Pack Challenge against: Lita, Jacquiline, Ivory, Mighty Molly, and Jazz. After winning the title she lost and regained the belt from opponents such as: Jazz, Victoria, Molly Holly, and Lita. Recently she is involved in a long-running on-camera feud with her rival Lita and newcomer Christy Hemme. She has also participated in storylines with Vince McMahon, Chris Jericho and Christian, who was her associate for a brief time.

Her ability as an in-ring performer has evolved over the years and she is generally seen as one of the best women professional wrestlers in the business. She is advertised by WWE as the first woman in its history to have held the WWE Women's Championship six times, more than the four title reigns of The Fabulous Moolah in which WWE recognizes. [1] This claim however is highly dubious, since one of Moolah's reigns were not continuous.

Trish is also one of the few WWE divas who continually refuses to pose nude for Playboy Magazine. In a March 15, 2005 inteview with Byte This! (an online talk show), Trish is quoted as saying;

"I just feel that I want to leave my mark in the ring. And I want to walk away, [unlike how] people will say about Torrie Wilson, 'Oh yea, she's the one that did Playboy.' And I don't want that to be overshadowed by anything I do in the ring. I want people to go 'Oh right, Trish Stratus. She was the greatest Women's Champion ever.'" [2]
