Trailing arbutus

The trailing arbutus (Epigaea repens), commonly known as the "mayflower" or "Plymouth mayflower," is a flowering plant found in the eastern half of the United States. It is listed as an endangered species in some states.

The plant's flower is quite small and can have a white, pink, or light blue color. In Maine, the flower blooms in mid- to late-April.
