Toy Soldiers (1991) is an action/drama movie, directed by Daniel Petrie Jr. . It stars Sean Astin, Wil Wheaton, Keith Coogan, Louis Gossett, Jr., Denholm Elliott, Andrew Divoff, T.E. Russell , George Perez , and R. Lee Ermey.

Astin, Wheaton, Coogan, Russell, and Perez were nominated for "Outstanding Young Ensemble Cast in a Motion Picture" by the Young Artist Awards.

The plot revolves around the efforts of students with a history of bad behavior to fend off a Colombian terrorist group that takes over their special prep school.

The school exterior scenes were filmed at Miller School of Albemarle, in Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. Other exterior scenes were filmed in San Antonio, Texas and Waynesboro, Virginia.
