Tower Hill tube station

Tower Hill is a London Underground station in Travelcard Zone 1, near the Tower of London on Tower Hill. The station is located beneath one of the largest remaining segments of the Roman wall that formerly surrounded London.

It is on the Circle Line between Monument and Aldgate, and the District Line between Monument and Aldgate East. It is close to Tower Gateway DLR station and Fenchurch Street railway station.

It was built on the site of the former Tower of London tube station that was closed early in the history of the Underground. It replaced a station with the same name, but earlier called Mark Lane tube station, that was situated further west.
