Tom Price (US politician)

Dr. Tom Price (born October 8 1954) is an American politician. He has been a member of the United States House of Representatives since 2005 representing the sixth district of Georgia (map). He is a Republican. He was born in Lansing, Michigan and attended the University of Michigan. He became a physician and eventually moved to Georgia. He was a member of the Georgia State Senate from 1997 to 2005. He was elected to the U.S. House unopposed in 2004, becoming the Republican candidate when incumbent Johnny Isakson declined to run for reelection in order to run for the US Senate.
