Tom Kristensen (auto racer)
Tom Kristensen (born July 7, 1967 in Hobro) is an Danish auto racer. He has won many championships in auto racing, the most famous of which is being the second person to win the prestigious 24 Hours of Le Mans on 6 occasions in 2004, the last 5 consecutively. In 1997, he won the race with the TWR Porsche team. In 2000, 2001, and 2002 he won the race with the powerful Audi R8 along with Frank Biela and Emanuele Pirro, becoming the first three drivers since Jacky Ickx in 1977 to win the race on three straight occasions. In 2003, he won the race with Bentley. And in 2004, he tied Ickx's record of 6 Le Mans titles with Team Goh's Audi R8. The last two titles have been with new teammates each time.

Tom Kristensen (born August 4, 1893 in London, died June 2, 1974 Thurø) is a Danish poet and novelist. He was educated at the University of Copenhagen. In 1930 he wrote his greatest work, Havoc (Hærværk) the story of a Danish journalist, Ole Jastrau, doing his best to "go to the dogs:" ruin his life and drink himself to death. It was translated into English by the University of Wisconsin Press, but is out of print.
