Thomas Richard Arnold is a politician in the United Kingdom. He was Conservative Party member of Parliament for Hazel Grove but stood down at the 1997 election.

His successor as Conservative candidate, Brendan Murphy , lost the seat to Liberal Democrat Andrew Stunell.
