Thrall is a fictional character in the Warcraft universe — a fictional universe in which a series of games and books are set.

The character was originally to be introduced as the main protagonist of Warcraft Adventures: Lord of the Clans, an adventure game in the world of Warcraft, but the game was cancelled before completion. As a consequence, Thrall's background is introduced in the novelisation of the cancelled game: Warcraft: Lord of the Clans. Thrall is also a playable character in Warcraft III, where he leads the Horde to Kalimdor. He is also present as an NPC in World of Warcraft.
