The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster

The Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster (often referred to as just Eighties Matchbox) are a psychobilly band from Brigton, England. They released debut Horse of the Dog in 2002 which, despite only being 25 minutes long and proclaiming that they "want to fuck your mother", recieved rave reviews from the british music press. The band comprises Guy McKnight, Andy Huxley, Marc Norris, Sym Gharial, and Tom Diamantopoulo. They formed in 1999. The band's sound is dark and blues-influenced, with wild vocals and deep basslines.

The single "Chicken" features artwork by Buzz Parker, creator of Emily Strange.

The next album to be released was The Royal Society in October 2004
