The Dream Academy

The Dream Academy were a 1980s British band, comprising Nick Laird-Clowes , Kate St. John and Gilbert Gabriel . They were notable for their close connection to David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, who produced and played on two of their albums.

They had a big UK hit with their single, "Life In A Northern Town" in their self-titled The Dream Academy.
