The Cocoanuts


The Cocoanuts (1929) is the first Marx Brothers film. It stars the four Marx Brothers, Oscar Shaw , Mary Eaton and the person sometimes referred to as the "fifth" brother, Margaret Dumont. It was written by George S. Kaufman and Morrie Ryskind , who had written the original Broadway play from which it was adapted.

It contains the song "When My Dreams Come True", sung by Irving Berlin.
