Tatton

Tatton is a parliamentary constituency in Cheshire, north-west England. There is no place named Tatton in it — it is named for Tatton Park , a stately home.

The constituency covers the towns of Knutsford and Wilmslow as well as a number of villages. For local government purposes. It is covered by the borough of Macclesfield

Tatton was the constituency of discraced former Tory member of Parliament, Neil Hamilton; who lost the seat in the 1997 election to independent candidate Martin Bell. Bell did not contest the seat at the 2001 election, and the seat was won by Conservative George Osborne.
