Tacones Lejanos (High Heels) is a 1991 Spanish film, written and directed by Pedro Almodóvar, starring Marisa Paredes and Victoria Abril. As with many Almodóvar films, it is difficult to pin down to a convenient genre, varying between a drama and a thriller and making use of surrealism, farce and comedy.
The plot involves a mother (played by Marisa Paredes ) and her daughter (Victoria Abril), and a strange murder committed by Abril and caused by her possessive mother.
