Sylvain Légaré is a politician in the Province of Québec, Canada, and an Action démocratique du Québec (ADQ) Member of the National Assembly of Quebec (MNA) for Vanier riding.
He was born in Québec City on October 22, 1970. He graduated in Studies in financial planning from Université Laval in 2000, and worked as a financial advisor since 1999.
He has been the President of the Charlesbourg Arts Society since 2002; co-founder and member of the executive committee, ADQ Vanier since 2002; ADQ regional advisor for Québec, Greater Québec Region since September 2003; Logistics adviser, Biathlon Canada since 2002; and is a Reservist, 58th Air Defence Battalion, in the Canadian Armed Forces.
He was elected as the MNA for Vanier in the by-election held on Septembre 20, 2004. He has been a member of the National Assembly's Committee on Labour and the Economy since October 20, 2004.
