Stettler, Alberta

Stettler ( Elevation: 00 feet) is a town in Alberta, Canada, with a year-round population of approximately 7500. The town is about 45 minutes east of Red Deer along Highway 12. The town is located in the eastern region of central Alberta.

The town has three schools in the Clearview school district: Stettler Elementary School, Stettler Middle School, and Wm. E. Hay High School and also the Christ King Catholic school.

Stettler is also home to Alberta Prairie Railway Excursions, a popular tourist attractions delivering rail tours to tourists from around the world.

The town also serves as a commercial hub for several smaller communities in the area, serving a population of approx 30,000.
