Stan Hagen

Stan Hagen (born 1940) is a Canadian politician, representing the riding of Comox Valley in the Legislative Assembly of British Columbia as a member of the BC Liberal Party. He is currently the Minister for Children and Family Development

He was first elected in 1986 as a Social Credit MLA and served in the cabinet of Bill Vander Zalm. He was defeated in the 1991 election when all by 7 Socred MLAs were defeated

On November 24, 2004, it was announced that Stan Hagen had been diagnosed with prostate cancer.
