The major ski resorts in Victoria are:

• Falls Creek
• Mt Hotham
• Mt Buller

Minor resorts are:

• Mt Buffalo - run by national parks. A good beginners area and cross country area. The Mt Buffalo Chalet regulary runs weekend-long ski classes for beginners, specialising in families and older people.
• Mt Baw Baw - in Gippsland.

Cross country only resorts are:

• Lake Mountain
• Mt St Gwinear
• Mt Stirling
• Mt Donna Buang (mostly tourist snow).
