Born September 8, 1979 in Edinburgh. Educated at Cheltenham College and Oxford University where he was a rugby Blue and studied Philosophy and Theology.

A big winger who played for the Scotland national rugby union team in the 2003 Rugby Union World Cup, and Bath. In 2004 he transferred from Bath Rugby to the Borders professional team in Scotland. His power should give the Borders a lift and help to set them on the winning road at last.
