Shaikh Salman bin Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa (born October 21, 1969) is the Undersecretary of Defence in Bahrain. He went to school in Bahrain, followed by higher studies abroad. He obtained a Bachelor's degree in political science in 1992 from the American University in Washington D.C., in the United States. He also obatained a Master's degree in history and philosophy from Cambridge University in 1994.

Shaikh Salman was appointed Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Bahrain Centre for Studies and Research (BCSR ) in 1995. That same year, he was also appointed Defence Under-Secretary. Shaikh Salman speaks Arabic and English fluently. He is married and has three children.
