serializer.net is a website featuring many free and subscription-based alternative comics created especially for the web. It was launched in October of 2002 by Publisher Joey Manley, Editor Tom Hart , and approximately 20 professional cartoonists. Contributing artists include many well-known award -winning alternative comics artists like James Kochalka, Sam Henderson and Howard Cruse, as well as young artists like Drew Weing , Chris Onstad and Erik Millikin . Serializer was the first site to spin-off from the subscription webcomics site Modern Tales.
