Sergei Fedorov


Sergei Victorovich Fedorov (Сергей Викторович Фёдоров; born December 13, 1969 in Pskov, Russia) is a professional ice hockey forward in the National Hockey League . He currently plays for the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. He was drafted by the Detroit Red Wings in the 1989 NHL Entry Draft , 4th Round, 74th overall. He has gained superstar status because of his offensive skills. He won the 1994 Hart Memorial Trophy, 1994 Frank J. Selke Trophy, 1994 Lester B. Pearson Award and the 1996 Frank J Selke Trophy. He is also a three time Stanley Cup winner. In the 2003-04 seasons he became the first Russian born, and only the 5th european born, ice hockey player to reach the 1,000 point mark.

His younger brother, Fedor Fedorov is an ice hockey player with Vancouver Canucks of NHL.
