Scholes-in-Elmet is a village on the outskirts of Leeds, West Yorkshire. It is one of only three places in the area to be explicitly associated with the ancient kingdom of Elmet, the others being Barwick-in-Elmet and Sherburn-in-Elmet.

Scholes-in-Elmet is usually referred to locally as simply 'Scholes', and often incorrectly on maps and official literature. It is sometimes also called, again incorrectly, Scholes-in-Elmete.
