Santa Cruz da Graciosa

Santa Cruz da Graciosa is a municipality and a parish in the Northern part of the Azores.

The population of the municipality is 4,780 (2001) and its area is 60.94km². It is divided into four parishes, and includes the entire island of Graciosa, which is surrounded by the Atlantic Ocean.

The area has three or four mountain ranges.

The parish population in 2001 was 1,838, its density 115/km² and its area 15.98 km². The parish was founded in the northern part of the island.

Santa Cruz da Graciosa has a school, a lyceum, a gymnasium, a church and a square (praça).
