San Pedro Actopan

San Pedro Actopan is a small town about 15 miles (24 km) southwest of the center of Mexico City. It is located in the Milpa Alta borough of Mexico's Federal District.

The town is well known for its Feria del Mole, an annual culinary festival focusing on mole sauces. The festival lasts for three weeks in October. Temporary restaurants and hundreds of vendor stalls are set up in the streets of the town, offering a very wide variety of mole.
