Sackville Waterfowl Park

Sackville is a town in Westmorland County, in South-Eastern New Brunswick, Canada. In 2001 it had a population of 5,361 people, primarily English-speaking.

Sackville is home of Mount Allison University and of the grasslands called the Tantramar Marshes, former tidal wetlands enclosed by dykes first built by the Acadians. In the centre of the town, an area of preserved wetland has been designated a waterfowl park. Radio Canada International's short-wave transmitting station is located on the marshes near Sackville.

Historically home to two foundries manufacturing stoves and furnaces, the economy is now driven by the University and tourism. Small-scale agriculture is carried out in the surrounding area, including dairy farming supported by haying on the marshes. The town is served by rail and by the Greater Moncton International Airport (YQM), about 50 km to the north, and is on the principal highway leading through New Brunswick to Nova Scotia.
