Robin Mattson (born June 1, 1956 in Los Angeles) is an American soap opera actress.

She is arguably the best known character actress on daytime serials, with all of her roles proving to be extremely popular, yet none of them were especially long-tenured or unique from the others (she was typically cast in supporting, "villainess" type roles).

Mattson's soap roles include:

• Hope Bauer Spaulding on Guiding Light from 1976-1977
• Heather Webber on General Hospital (1980-1983 and from June to December 2004).
• She filled in as Delia Reid Ryan on Ryan's Hope in 1984
• Gina Blake Demott Capwell Timmons on Santa Barbara (1985-1993).
• Janet Marlowe Green Dillon (Jane Cox) on All My Children (1994-2000).
• She also had a brief role as "Sugar" on The Bold and the Beautiful in 2003

Trivia

• Her nutty character on All My Children was referred to by other characters as well as television columnists as Janet from Another Planet.
