Robert Taylor Jones

Robert Taylor Jones (18841958) was the 9th governor of the U.S. state of Arizona and served from 1939 to 1941. He was a civil engineer and participated in the construction of the Panama Canal. He owned pharmacies in Phoenix and Tucson. He also owned the Jones Western Store in Phoenix and a cattle ranch near Chandler. Jones died in 1958 and is buried in Greenwood Memorial Park in Phoenix.
