Robert Llewellyn (born 10 March 1956) is a British actor, presenter, and writer, best known for playing the android Kryten in the hit BBC situational comedy (BritCom in the US) Red Dwarf.
He was born in Northampton, Northamptonshire, England. Llewellyn also presents Scrapheap Challenge (known as Junkyard Wars in the United States) and Hollywood Science, which is a joint production between the BBC and the Open University.
He is also the author of 9 books, including 4 novels, The Man on Platform 5, Punchbag, Sudden Wealth and Brother Nature.
