In particular, it says its mission is "restoring democratic authority over corporations, reviving grassroots democracy, and revoking the power of money and corporations to control government and civic society."

It says that in order to do this in the United States, three constitutional amendments are needed:

• an amendment specifying that the protections in the Bill of Rights do not apply to corporations
• an amendment specifying that political spending is not constitutionally protected speech
• an amendment giving all citizens an affirmative right to vote
