Prick Up Your Ears

Prick Up Your Ears is a 1986 film about the gay playwright Joe Orton and his lover Kenneth Halliwell. The screenplay was written by Alan Bennett, and stars Gary Oldman as Orton and Alfred Molina as Halliwell. Directed by Stephen Frears, the interior used for Joe and Ken's flat was the actual flat where they lived. It is at 25 Noel Road, Islington, London.
