"Pretty Vacant" was the third single released by punk band the Sex Pistols. This ode to apathy was released on July 2, 1977. Provocatively, the chorus is sung as "va-cunt" rather than "vacant". Despite this, this song marked the band's only appearance on the British music show Top of the Pops.

The B-side is a cover of Iggy and the Stooges' "No Fun" and lasts almost 7 minutes, almost twice the length of the original.
